How do I know which skincare products are right for me?

If you aren’t currently using any products or are unsure if the products you are using are right for you, feel free to bring them in. Our esthetician will be able to tell you during your consultation whether these products are suitable for your skin type and provide you with a skincare regimen that is aligned with your skin type and lifestyle.

How to prepare for my appointment?

Plan to arrive about 5-10 minutes early to fill out a form listing allergies and ALL medications. Please silence your cell phone & don't bring guest with you, to help keep our spa a tranquil environment. Your esthetician will evaluate your skin, make a recommendation for skincare treatments & products, and begin your service.

What treatment should I choose?

We offer online & in spa consultations to guide clients to the right treatment.

A facial or microderm is the basic starting treatment. If you are looking for something more aggressive for more mature damaged skin we may suggest a peel.

What are the benefits of a facial?

A basic facial cleanses pores, exfoliates away dead skin cells, and treats common skin concerns with a custom mask. A facial helps to deep cleanse, exfoliate, increase circulation and detoxifies, relaxes the senses, nerves & muscles, stimulates skin functions, slows premature aging, treats conditions such as dryness, oiliness, or redness, softens the appearance of  wrinkles and aging lines, and helps clear up minor blemishes and acne.

What are the benefits of microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a mechanical form of exfoliation. We use a diamond tip and soft vacuum to gently remove and suction dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. The benefits are diminished sun damage, pigmentation, open and closed comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), enlarged pores, coarsely textured skin and helps to improve the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles.

What are the benefits of a chemical peel?

Chemical peels are a type of exfoliation treatment. Chemical peels remove dead skin cells resulting in improved skin texture,  increased skin cell turnover, Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduction or removal of dark spots (sun damage and hyperpigmentation), stimulation of elastin and collagen (substances that make your skin firm and toned) and overall smoother softer skin

What are some side effects of a chemical peel?

Chemical peels remove layers of skin which will temporarily make your skin more sensitive to sun exposure. As a result, it is necessary to wear at least an SPF 30 for protection and avoid the sun while receiving chemical peel treatments. Because chemical peels exfoliate it is not unusual to experience actual flaking and peeling. This will subside within a few days. Please follow all directions for at home care following a treatment. To avoid unnecessary irritation you should avoid exfoliation treatments at least 24 hours prior to your treatment.

What to expect after a treatment?

After a treatment of any depth, follow the esthetician’s directions for cleansing, moisturizing and applying protective ointments to your skin. The treated skin may be irritated. This is a normal part of skin care treatments. Some treatments will show instant results, while some may need time or several sessions to develop. Skin health will continue to improve as you follow the guidance of your esthetician & continue your home-care regimen. Talk with your esthetician in depth before each procedure.

All results may vary.

What treatment can I have close to a big event?

We DO NOT recommend getting a treatment at least 24-48 hours before a big event. Some longer. Tell your esthetician when your event is so you can be informed of time frame, as each treatment and skin condition is different.

How do I continue caring for my skin at home?

At-home regimes are important in maintaining healthy skin. All our products are available for home use & may be purchased in the spa or online. Your esthetician will recommend specific products for your skin type.

Where can I buy products?

DermaQuest is sold in spa only.

Societe is sold in spa only.

Ultrasonic Cavitation FAQ's

Can I lose weight with Ultrasound Cavitation?

Ultrasonic Cavitation is not a method of weight loss. It is designed to reshape and sculpt the body and remove localised stubborn fat or cellulite. Ultrasonic Cavitation treatments work best when combined with a low fat and low carbohydrate diet and regular exercise and these will help you to lose weight.

How many treatments can I have?

We recommend you have a course of 6 and a maximum of 12 treatments before having a break of 4 weeks to allow your body to recover. You should allow 72 hours between treatments.

How soon can I see a result of cavitation?

Most clients will have a noticeable reduction in their measurements after the very first treatment, some have recorded 5 inches, however the average is a 2 inch loss. The process of fat removal continues for up to 7 days after each treatment so it isn’t unusual to see a further decrease a day or two after your initial treatment.

Is the fat reduction permanent?

Yes, the fat cells are fractured, broken down and the cells are drained away through the liver and passed as waste from the body.

How long is a treatment?

The service is tailored to the individual but generally including consultation and measurement, you can expect to be with us between 30-60 minutes.

What can I do at home to help with treatments?

Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol after your service. Try and increase your heart rate by taking some exercise for the best results, even by doing some household chores, and avoid too many carbohydrates.
